Overall, those terms give the same meaning but have minor difference between them.
Child abandonment is more to leave the child without no one takes care of them. The parents are not very responsible towards their own children. As example, they leave their child at home with no food, clothes and other necessary thing.
As well as child abandonment, child neglect also has the same meaning.
Baby dumping has some differences. It is more to throw the baby away into the dumpsters, river, mosque and other places and exposed it to danger and death. It is totally irresponsible act and more cruel than child abandonment
I'm really sure about the different of the 3 terms.Baby dumping is more related to those who trowing away their baby without pity or worrying about them...what is in their mind is just they want to destroy their problem far away from their life and no one know about it.

this is not the only way to settle their problem..
in fact, this situation messed up the problem that they already had..
